U Wiebe 11 February 2001
Stayed at  Manila Hotel - Manila, Philippines.
Only a one night stopover. Manila's traffic is horrendous.

G Schneider 02 February 2001
Stayed at  Cebu Marine Beach Resort - Cebu, Philippines.
Small beach, a little bit dirty at low tide.

D Biazon marzen 27 January 2001
Stayed at  Jupiter Arms Hotel - Manila, Philippines.
Be very careful if travelling on PAL - it has its own international terminal. All other airlines are served by Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

G Gomori 15 January 2001
Stayed at  Discovery Suites - Manila, Philippines.
Discovery suite's breakfast bar offers cereals, fresh milk, breads, youghurt, eggs - all fresh and clean, however the cheese plate, fruit plate looked stale - from the day before? The juices tasted watered down and not knowing the source of water you may want to stay away from them.

W Pollet 28 January 2000
Stayed at  Citadel Inn Makati - Manila, Philippines.
I visited, Olongapo by bus, then toured by private jeepney, subic bay,the new airport facilities, visted one of the camps and watch a survival course in the jungles, only problem was if you didn't have a machette your were up the creek without a paddle..Ha. I also visited Silay, Bacolod,Tagaytay and stayed at Picnic Grove, accommendations in Picnic Grove really need renovation. I did enjoy Taal volcano, and hope to return to that area again sometime. I used PLane, bus, private jeepney's and bike's. Being a much larger man than most filipina's the bikes were very heard to get into and out of, certainly not my favorite way to travel.
