For people travelling to KL, who wants to take a tour at twin towers, please go early as there is limited numbers allowed to the bridge connecting both tower, Admission is free. For disappointed people can go to KL tower but it would cost $15 rm for the bird's eye view of the whole city. On the whole, it is enjoyable trip which enhance with the trip to chinatown where you can bargain for real cheap stuffs, be careful though as there are pickpockets around.

Kuala Lumpur is a good place for shopping, especially if there is a sales. However, the taxi drivers and the service they render leaves much to be desired. Most taxi drivers refuse to run on meters and charge twice the amount of the usual fare when they know you're a tourist/visitor. In addition, most of the taxis are old and not well-kept.

I think that Kuala Lumpur is a fine place to visit for a couple of days, but I prefer other Malaysian destinations more. Everyone talks about the shopping, but as I'm not a big fan of shopping malls or shopping itself as a leisure activity, this is not an attraction for me. I much prefer wandering around interesting cities by foot, and this is not an activity that is easy to do in KL given the pollution, the lack of sidewalks, the heat/humidity, and most of all there is just too much traffic and apart from a few interesting sections of town it is not an attractive or pleasant city, in my opinion.

We used our own driver and guide whilst away and visited all the attractions. The tea plantations were particularly fascinating and everything was good value for money.
We also had a need to visit the local Klinic for an emergency wasp sting to the face and found the doctor very kind and efficient.

Great shopping in KLCC. But have encountered some unfriendly taxi drivers in Jalan Bukit Bintang, such as drivers refused to use meter and insisted that we paid triple the actual price. And there's one incident that this particular driver was very rude and accused us of slamming the car door. We got so fed up with him that we alight half-way, as he kept on scolding us. This was such as unpleasant experience that I might consider not going to KL anymore. Anyway, I feel that Singapore is still the best..with clean environment and friendly people.

I found KL lively and clean city with variet type of resturants and food stalls. Shopping during the mega sale was very good and the family purchased most of what they were looking for. If you from Middle East you could find one Persian and three Libanese resturants, ofcourse a variety of chinese resturants, but as a moslim, I was very careful about the meat and chicken in these resturants.

Well located for shopping and a night out. However too much pimps hanging along the road which spoils the image.

The taxi drivers are amongst the worst I have come across, and seem to invent the highest fare imaginable, even though the government-set fares are displayed. For travel around Georgetwon, I would recommend the free shuttle bus which goes around the city every 10 minutes. I would recommend "Passage thru India" on Jalan Penang, as one of the best indian restaurants I have eaten at.

Beware when bargaining at Chinatown. The shop owner was really rude when we decided we were no longer interested in her good and walked away.

I got around by taxi's, most of the taxi's were friendly and nice, but I always seem to get the one that wants to try to take advantage of me. Bargaining for fares late at night can get tiresome.
Lost of big shopping malls up the street.
