Stayed at  Holiday Villa Subang - Selangor, Malaysia.
THE SUNWAY LAGOON AND SUNWAY PYRAMID MALL ARE WORTH VISITING.IN FACT, 'THE GIANT' SUPERMARKET THERE HAS BETTER DEALS THAN MOST SHOPPING MALLS IN KL CITY!

Stayed at  Bintang Warisan Hotel - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
KL is super clean! Well organized and very peaceful.Though the bargains in Chinatown are quite not the same as rates as in the Philippines. Its higher in Malaysia by 15%. Though the branded products are ok, price-wise. Genting is a swell place for young and old alike. And staying in Bintang Warisan is great. Very accessible to all our needs! The only drawback perhaps is that some Taxi drivers would not charge by meter especially if the destination is quite near.

The hotel is very near to Petronas twin towers, it will only take you 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes through train or taxi. I would recommend to go their at least 8:30am to avail free ticket going to bridgeway. You should also try the Petrosains, for the enjoyment and knowledge enrichment not only for kids but also for adults. It is also near the terminal of NICE bus going to Singapore, it will only take you 5 hours drive. And Puduraya terminal, it will only take you 15 mins to walk from the hotel of 5 mins. by taxi. The terminal for buses going to Genting Island about 45 mins to 1 hour drive. Genting island has large theme parks that you would enjoy, I definitely recommend this for families travelling to Malaysia.

Very difficult top travel in KL by walk. Too much hight ways and no access for pedestrians. 3 days in KL is ok and after you must leave to Melaka (nice colonial place), in chinatown, you will find a beautifull hotel : hotel puri, charming place to stay. Also, for a break close to the sea, don't hesitate to take a flight to Tioman island an amazing place to swim, snorkling and take a good time before your retur. Enjoy your trip.

KL is a very clean city. A mix of Malay, Indian, and Chinese. Don't miss the Golden Triangle, KL tower, Petronas Towers. You need a pre-paid taxi coupon at the airport if you are taking a taxi into the city. You buy it just before exiting the terminal. They will get you either a premium taxi (Mercedes) for 92R (24USD) or standard car for around 65R. If you don't specify, they will charge you for a premium taxi. The airport is 45min to the city.

Stayed at  Telang Usan Hotel - Sarawak, Malaysia.
The Sarawak Cultural Village is worth every ringgit you spend to get there and to see it. the Matang Wildlife Sanctuary was a rather rundown compared to the last time I was there several years ago, with several signboards missing or broken. The river is still lovely and clean, though.... Downtown Kuching is a pleasure to explore. Make sure you do beyond the front row of river-facing shops, and you will find much better prices for some souvenir items. Oh, and if you want to buy Sarawak's famous pepper, don't buy those expensive little 'Sarah Spices' packets. There's a little old lady at a pepper dealer called 'Yeo Hong Chuang' somewhere along that front row of shops. There you can find peppercorns in huge sacks, sold by weight at a fraction of the price of those little SS packets.

Stayed at  Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The hotel was great in recommending restaurants. Every restaurant they recommened we loved, Thai Food, Italian, Malaysian we tried it all , everything was delicious as well as a nice location. I wanted a private quide for the three of us and they had a name of someone that was great. He worked out to be just as much as a normal tour would cost for the three of us but we had our own private car and driver. We went on the jungle walk, enjoyed. A day in Malacca and enjoyed. Taxi was our main form of transportation, reasonable. We did take their transit system and it was easy. Enjoyed!

During my stay in Kuala Lumpur, I went to Sungei Wang, Chinatown, Sunway Lagoon etc for shopping which is not bad at all. For food, we went to the Noodle restaurant at Sungei Wang Plaza, W.A.W restaurant at Jalan Alor (best for Kam Heong Crabs), and the roadside stall along Chinatown selling Ramlee Burger (which is so good and juicy).
