Stayed at Pangkor Island Beach Resort - Perak, Malaysia.

Pangkor is a beautiful island. Jungles filled with fantastic wildlife, beautiful beaches, nice people..and soooooo inexpensive. On the Malaysian Peninsular, only Penang has prostitution.

I would recommend against the following activities offered by the resort:
Jungle trek - insects, leeches, and nothing to see ... give this one a pass.
Cross Island Trek or Snorkeling - best bet is to take a 'teksi' around the island ...
it is cheaper and you see the same things. If your going snorkeling, head to
Nipah beach where you will go to the same snorkel spot for less than half of the
cost as offered by the resort ... plus you can go whenever and for as long as you like.

-2 info would have been extremely helpful:
i) Whether scuba diving is available at Pangkor, who to contact and the est costs.
ii) Time table of available flights to Pangkor and the airline operating. Perhaps a connection can be made to another website that deal in the booking of flights to Pangkor.
-Pangkor beaches, sad to say, PALES in comparison with islands off the east coast, like Redang, Tioman and Aur.
