Stayed at  Radius International Hotel, Kuala Lumpur - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
BB Plaza, Sungei Wang Plz, Lot 10, Times Square are all within walking distance. From KLCC to Bukit Bintang, metered cab fare around RM3 only. Manhattan Fish Rsnt in basement offers quite good value. Tandoori & naan available at coffeeshop down the road from hotel.

Stayed at  Century Mahkota Hotel Melaka - Melaka (Malacca), Malaysia.
Moving around Malacca is rather easy, lest the occassional traffic jam. The pace of the city is very wonderful and makes you want to come back sooner than later. My family and I enjoyed every trip to Malacca, which we tried to make it a point to visit 4 times or more a year. Jonker Street is a must visit over the weekends, especially in the night where you get to see night stalls and street performance. My children loved the performance and always fascinated by the 'fire eating', coconut piercing performance.

Stayed at  Tanjung Bungah Beach Hotel - Penang, Malaysia.
Penang has vastly developed since the last time I was there. About 10 years age. Their Gurney Drive is still there but I would say the standard and quality has gone down with time. The best "chendol" and "Penang Laksa" I had was at Lebuh Jeng Kwee, off Penang Road and directly opposite the Police Headquarters. The chendol's stall is located outside the eating place and you would need to pay an additional RM0.40 cents to consume inside the eating place. The owner of the eating is not too friendly. There are many interesting places to visit, most of time within walking distance or short bust ride. There is a free shuttle bus to many interesting areas, but strangely enough they do not operate on Sundays & Public Holidays.

Stayed at  Shangri-La's Tanjung Aru Resort - Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
Kota Kinabalu is a nice town, only problem is the smell, drainage problem.Plenty of restaurants to eat especially seafood if you like it but theres always others to choose from.May is a nice time to go because it was harvest festival, plenty to see, cultural shows etc.The taxi from the hotel is the most convenient way to get around and very cheap and the location of the hotel is ideal for getting around.

F Pang 21 May 2005
Stayed at  Royale Bintang, The - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Very exciting city that is easy on the wallet. Definitely visit Chinatown's Jaya Petaling if you are looking for bargain buys. If you have the time, a visit to Kuala Selangor (about an hour's drive outside of KL) is worth it just to play with the monkeys on Monkey Mountain. As well, stop by to see the famed (and diminishing) firefly colony. The obvious tourist stop is KL's Petronas Towers, although we found the long wait for tickets anticlimactic as the view was stunted and we were ushered off the skybridge after 10 minutes. Best way to get around is probably by cab, but be sure to ask the price before you get in as many cabbies will not hesitate to jack up their prices to the "tourist rate".

Stayed at  Renaissance, Kuala Lumpur Hotel - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
KL, a great place for a stopover and a slow transition back into Asia. After a year in Australia and heading back to China this was a great place to get slowly back into the swing of an Asian city. Great tasting, smelling, colourful food, a diverse mix of nationalities, beautiful sights to see, great (cheap!) shopping, along with friendly locals. A great modern multicultural city which would rank as one of my favourites for a stopover. I look forward to visiting later in the year along with other parts of Malaysia.

Stayed at  Impiana Resort Cherating - Cherating, Malaysia.
Nature's Batik Village and PasarPayang in Terengannu are interesting places for shopping. I like the good attitude of Batik Village staff which allows apparels purchased be returned in exchange of size etc.

Stayed at  Swiss Inn Kuala Lumpur - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
I particularly enjoy the tour conducted at Petronas twin towers..The sight from the towers were jus exhilirating ..just wish it was higher though..coz the skybridge is just too low. On the whole it was nice..no complaints really.

R Kosaraju 16 May 2005
Stayed at  Holiday Villa Subang - Selangor, Malaysia.
THE SUNWAY LAGOON AND SUNWAY PYRAMID MALL ARE WORTH VISITING.IN FACT, 'THE GIANT' SUPERMARKET THERE HAS BETTER DEALS THAN MOST SHOPPING MALLS IN KL CITY!
