The only draw back with this hotel was the location. It is away from the main tourist/shopping areas. There is a shuttle bus to Surin beach, but I think they should also run the shuttle to Patong Beach. the service was excellent and if you just want to relax away from it all, then At Panta is the place. the grounds were very well kept and the Thai style villa's were just beautiful. The staff very friendly and very helpful. Chong was lovely. Had a beautiful relaxing holiday here.

Location is very far from everything, and they only have one restaurant. Quite expensive and the breakfast was not nothing much. They did not have any cheese and cold (if any) bacon. In the welcome-info it said that happy hour was until 1830, but it was only till 18:00. And in the restaurant meny in the room it says that wine cost 130 pr glass, but it really cost 220 bath pr. glass. Nice thaistyle, decor and garden. We stayed in 5 different hotels in both Ao Nang, Ko Lanta, Kata Noi and Kata this trip, and this was the hotel we liked the least. The staff was polite, but not as smiling and service minded as at the other hotels.

Great room but the location stunk - they do offer shuttle busses to the beach but there is nothing near the hotel. Taxis service was also grossly over priced to get to the airport - about triple what you should have had to pay. The grounds were meticulously maintained and the setting was wonderful.

We both enjoyed our stay at the At Panta (my girlfriend and myself), however the biggest down fall and after talking to many other hotel guest about it was how hard their beds are. Generally we found most beds in Phuket hotels where quite hard but this hotel in particular was terrible. Generally everything else was quite nice.

Starting off with its shortcomings:
The hotel is located quite far away from Phuket town, Patong beach and basically where everything is happening. If you're not driving then expect to pay 600 baht for a one-way trip to Patong.
Hotel had no wireless internet and only had one computer in which to access the internet. Said computer lacked a printer.
The breakfast buffet was below average, but that is to be expected for the price you're paying.
The hotels redeeming qualities stems from its beautifully designed, traditional Thai-style villas and pavillions.
The hotel staff were wonderful. Everyone was polite and tried to be helpful (especially Chong). The maid did an exceptional job at cleaning our rooms (bear in mind my husband tends to make a mess where ever he goes).
