| Guest comments | Metropole Hotel has an excellent location. The rooms were spacious. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. The rates were slightly steep but good value for money. I would recommend this hotel. |

| Guest comments | The room was too small for a triple. The counter staff was very unfriendly and rude. We happened to ask the counter staff for directions and they kept giving us wrong information. If not for our language ability, we would have got lost. We kept our luggages at the counter after checked out, hoping to check on the nearby shop, after discovered nothing, we got back quickly to get our stuff and we overhead their rude grunt saying us crazy. They suggested us to take their shuttle service to the border gate. We confirmed with them many times if it is the shuttle to Gongbei. Instead they sent us to the Ferry port to Hongkong. If not for the location, I wont stay there again. |

| Guest comments | The hotel location is great with walking distance from most of the tourist attractive spot and having free shuttle bus to the ferry terminal. however the interior of the room is old and the beds are not comfortable. (too hard) |
