| Guest comments | The hotel was pleasant enough and the room spacious. Situated about a 1km climb out of Dunedin centre. Some of the rooms are set in blocks and we were given one overlooking a neighbouring property which appeared to be full of backpackers. And they being backpackers did make quite a bit of noise. | ||

| Guest comments | Location dreadful if you do not have a car - significant distance from city centre up steep hills. Room fixtures and furniture rather old and tired. Lighting poor. Not recommended. | ||

| Guest comments | We had expected a better facility for our stay in Dunedin. In our opinion this hotel is overdue for renovation. I would be devasted if I had been an overseas tourist and had been presented with the room we had with zero outlook and a tired bathroom. | ||
