| Guest comments | Location is this hote's only saving grace. Newly renovated lobby gives the impression of a 4-5 star hotel, but the room itself has very old furnishings and is in original (and old) condition. I was amazed to find that the air conditioning temperature could not be varied, and we had to request a heater! Staff at the front desk were extremely rude. This hotel is most definitely over-rated as a 4 star, a 3-star rating is more suitable. Do your research, there are plenty of other hotels in the area that will live up to their 4-star rating. | ||

| Guest comments | It is a pity we can not use internet for a normal price as if it was a luxuary service. Nevertheless, it costs nothing to use internet in a Pacific Place or starbuck cafe located half a minute from the hotel. Alain, Paris | ||

| Guest comments | Hotel is undergoing renovations (staff say it will become a 5-star hotel) so lobby has been temporarily re-located to 1st floor. Some construction noise during week days. Room was a reasonable size (can't remember room description but it was at the lower end of the price scale). Hotel reception staff seemed to be extremely busy with guests every time I passed through so leave a bit of extra time if your'e checking-out at peak times. Staff were helpful and spoke excellent English. Hotel is about a 10min walk from the Star Ferry and 10min cab ride from China Ferry Terminal. Traffic around this area is dense and chaotic so allow up to 30mins just to get out of the neighborhood. | ||
