They were kind enough to give me a non-smoking room in the end, but I had to ask for it when I checked in. Why can we not request a non-smoking room when we reserve the room? This is the only disadvantage. The smoking rooms are unbearable for a non-smoking person. If I have to take the chance of getting one, I think I'd rather stay at another hotel where I can specify a non-smoking room when I reserve the room. Otherwise, it is a lovely hotel.

Perfectly acceptable stopover hotel near Handa airport. Small room but very good service and facilities. Free internet in lobby, frequent shuttle bus to airport. Don't leave your 10 minute shuttle back to the airport to the very last minute as the transit bus may fill up.
