The Desert Palms Resort evokes as its name suggests a tropical paradise in the middle of a hot dry desert. It is truly an outstanding establishment offering a calm, peaceful environment, which creates a sense of relief for the often-weary traveller.

Location
Situated in the Mt John Valley, the Desert Palms Resort fronts the Todd River and is placed just five minutes from the centre of town. Lasseters Casino, Alice Springs entertainment hot spot and the Convention Centre are only 300 metres from the property. The peaceful setting with over 700 palm trees and trailing bougainvillea creates a colourful relaxing calming atmosphere.

Rooms
The Desert Palms Resort features 80 individual villas allowing the guest complete privacy as you have no noisy neighbours to disturb you, with the palm trees creating a wall of privacy to each unit with trailing bougainvillea to lend a colourful splash amongst the greenery. The individual villas are self-contained with kitchenettes, verandahs and en-suite bathrooms.

Guest comments	Very happy with the free courtesy bus from Airport and quite happy to pay small fee for trip back to Airport. Staff at Desert Palms Resort very pleasant and informative with information. Holiday chalets and surrounding facilities re pool and laundry excellent. Just a 20 minute walk from CBD - very easy to access. Price for Resort very affordable and we met some great people staying there.
