We were checked into a room 3 times before we got to ours. The first room they gave us keys to was actually someone else's room and they were in it!!
But the location was perfect and the view was also great.

some of the curtains were stained, and the furniture fabric had some tears.
there was also a constant smell of burning (from a diesel power generator)

I was very disappointed in the service provided by this hotel. Upon arrival, we were basically ignored for a minute or so and the young girl at reception was anything but warm and welcoming.
The refridgerator had broken down and we therefore had to have all of our goods taken to the staff fridge which was quite inconvenient. Both TVs had terrible reception and we regularly had to advise reception that we had run out of something as the cleaning staff had not replenished it that morning.
The swimming pool and gym is actually located in the adjoining hotel and is difficult to get to. the best part of the facilities was the bed which was very comfortable and the only saving grace for this hotel was it's location which was within easy walking distance to Darling Harbour, Sydney Entertainment centre, Chinatown and Paddy's market.
With a bit of staff training (in better hospitality) this hotel would be much better.
